Wheatland, MO- Lucas Oil Speedway wants to introduce racing to kids more than ever in 2016 with the launch of “Free Kids Fridays.” Beginning with the opening night of the Lucas Oil MLRA Spring Nationals on April 8, Lucas Oil Speedway will admit all kids 11-and-under free with a paid adult admission to Friday dirt-track events and two Friday drag-boat events. “We currently have it separated so that kids

“Free Kids Fridays” are coming to Lucas Oil Speedway in 2016 with ages 11-and-under free with a paid adult for Friday events.

5-and-under are always free and youth 6-15 are a certain price based on the event,” Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said. “We want to take it a step further with ‘Free Kids Friday’ as a way to encourage more families to take in a night at the races.”

The MLRA Spring Nationals opener is the first of five “Free Kids Fridays” on the 2016 dirt-track schedule. The others are May 27 for the middle night of the Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 Presented by Protect the Harvest.com; Sept. 16 for night one of the Lucas Oil Pro Puling Nationals; Sept. 23 for the middle night of the Lucas Oil ASCS Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial and Oct. 7 for the opener of the 3rd annual Lucas Oil MLRA Fall Nationals. The “Free Kids Fridays” also apply to “Lake Lucas” on June 10, the opening day of the 5th annual John Haas Memorial Drag Boat Classic, and Sept. 2 for the first day of the 6th annual Diamond Drag Boat Nationals.
