Instead of saving just a dollar Heather LaShae Perry Creighton & I decided to save the whole twenty. Through all the tough times we never once thought about spending this piece of our dream. When you have something you can't let go, most of the time it means you worked too hard for it. I think this fits well with our hard work & dedication to a sport we love, live & breathe. I'm changing things up in 2017 & as of this moment I am only obligated with Whynot Motorsports Park, my home track. I feel that taking some time away will only benefit our future & will obviously give me time to refocus & restructure YellowCautionFlag & all the other affiliates that support this awesome dream. I'm very pleased to announce that my health has improved beyond belief & I'm for once anticipating a full recovery from a back injury that at one point & time felt so relentless that death was almost acceptable just to offer relief from my suffering. I have taken much slack for not allowing medical treatment, but in my heart & soul this was something I was never going to allow to own me. I took a risk at natural healing & only made progress once I studied & started a more successful lifestyle. There have been times along the way I felt I couldn't continue dragging myself along during the summer swing of racing but other times it was the only break from pain I thought ever really received. My mind was & has been just as worn as my body as I have focused every last bit of energy & motivation into healing & with that my friends & family have endured suffering as well. I'm pointing myself in the right direction, giving the man in heaven all my attention. With out his work of craftsmanship I'd have never been surrounded with such an amazing support staff in my close friends & family. I look forward to returning for my 6 season as an announcer at a track that holds a lifetime of memories & life lessons. Whynot has been apart of my life since I was a toddler & tho most are just memories as a fan, they were moments shared with my father & family. It's an honor & a privilege to be apart of the House of Hook family & appreciate all the great things that have come since starting as a greenhorn back in 2012.
Thanks to everyone that has supported our endeavors & helped us accomplish our dreams & goals. Thank you to my haters too, nothing like trying to figure out what I said or did that got me on the bad list but that's where the learning part comes in. We can't wait to see y'all on February 25 at the House of Hook for the debut of the USMTS - United States Modified Touring Series.
